NxWorries, the celebrated partnership of Anderson .Paak and producer Knxwledge, are gearing up for a major milestone: their very first headlining North American tour. The run begins on September 10 in Portland, Oregon, and will make its way through 22 cities, including Chicago, New York, Atlanta, and Houston, before wrapping with a hometown finale at Los Angeles’ iconic Hollywood Palladium. The tour news follows the recent release of their infectious summer single, “Everybody Gets Down”, out now via Stones Throw.
The announcement comes on the heels of last year’s Why Lawd?, the duo’s sophomore album that earned a GRAMMY and widespread praise from critics and fans alike. While their 2016 debut Yes Lawd! became a cult favorite, Why Lawd? expands NxWorries’ sound even further. From Anderson .Paak’s sharp delivery on “Battlefield” to the West Coast-inspired grooves of “86Sentra”, the record shows the pair pushing their creative chemistry into new directions. Guest appearances from Earl Sweatshirt, Rae Khalil, Snoop Dogg, October London, and H.E.R. further elevate the project, which also features standout tracks like “FromHere”, “Where I Go”, and “Daydreaming.”
Since their debut, both members have carved remarkable individual paths. Anderson .Paak has grown into an international superstar, collecting nine GRAMMY Awards along the way, while Knxwledge has established himself as one of the most innovative beatmakers of his generation. Beyond his solo work, Knxwledge has contributed production to heavyweights like Kendrick Lamar and Earl Sweatshirt, cementing his reputation as a visionary in modern hip-hop.
Now, after years of anticipation, NxWorries are finally bringing their joint live show to stages across the continent, an event sure to delight longtime fans and introduce their evolving sound to new audiences.
